2026 climate events & a peek at May elections (Jan 2026)
Last week, Beccy and Ben headed to Westminster to join politicians (some of them, anyway) for a National Emergency Briefing on climate and nature.
How we help you decide how to vote most powerfully for the climate:
VoteClimate is a membership organisation. Our most important service is to give members voting recommendations in general and local elections. These recommendations are specific to the constituency, ward, etc where you live. No one else does this.
In addition, we analyse the manifestos of the main parties at General Elections, publishing rankings according to their impact on emissions. Between elections, we report to members on the actions the Government is taking, keeping you up to date on progress through our newsletters.
We are run by a small team of volunteers on a minimal budget, supplementing our resources with other volunteers and freelancers when we can. VoteClimate is a non-profit company run on the same principles as a charity (we can’t be a charity because of our political activity).
